A member of the Evergreen Park community since 2013, Everbrite Family Dentistry, Dr. Jannet Laplanche, DDS takes pride in ensuring all patients are our number one priority the moment they walk through our practice doors.

Truth is that the average person often neglects oral health. We are always taught how important it was to brush our teeth to avoid bad breath and cavities. But little focus is placed on protecting teeth to avoid medical related issues or the harmful effects of losing a tooth.

Dr. Laplanche learned she was no different during her own personal dental experience. There she was in a dental chair, terrified, and feeling totally intimidated by the dentist. Her fear was a combination of looking foolish to the dentist and a personal sense of failure. She knew she was taking care of her teeth but clearly not to the degree the dentist was now recommending. Right then, at that moment, the seed had been planted that she wanted to change the minds of people who view going to see their dentist as being the most dreaded thing in the world.

“Now I focus on making patients feel better about their smiles while at the same time educating them on how to prevent future problems today.”

Dr. Laplanche has also learned throughout the years of practicing dentistry that what she provide extends beyond the dental chair. While she enjoys educating the public on the importance of oral health and disease prevention, she can also interact with people of all ages, cultures, and personalities. She is happy tohave a diverse and interesting career being a dentist.
